SWANSorZEBRAS (2019-2025)

1 THE (INTERSTELLAR) WOMB

Every seed is awakened and so has all animal life. It is through this mysterious power that we too have our being, and we therefore yield to our neighbors, even our animal neighbors, the same right as ourselves, to inhabit this land. – (Sitting Bull)

2 POLARITY

Black and white thinking is very useful. Many problems, many culprits. Light pollution confuses the white and black of day and night. Only when the circadian rhythms of the last deserts collapse will we realize that we cannot eat the myriads of wind turbines and solar panels.

3 SWANSorZEBRAS

At the Zoo, children may still ask questions like: Why is this swan black (why aren’t they all black)? Or: Can swans have also stripes (like zebras)? Or: DaddyMummy, why do they do that (when the chimpanzees have an explicit orgy in the cage in the midst of boredom)?

4 CHYMISCHE HOCHZEIT

See Also

Chymische Hochzeit refers to Johann Valentin Andreae’s alchemical novel of the same name, published in 1616, in which the initiation experiences of Christian Rosenkreutz are described.

In Alchemy the perfection of the human body and soul was thought to result from the alchemical magnum opus („Great Work“). – But remember: the success of the endeavor requires the philosopher’s stone to be found.

The word alchemy comes from old French alquemie, alkimie, used in Medieval Latin as alchymia. This name was itself adopted from the Arabic word al-kīmiyā. The Arabic al-kīmiyā in turn was a borrowing of the Late Greek term khēmeía, also spelled khumeia and khēmía, with al- being the Arabic definite article ‚the‘.
